Gomenasai, my name is Ken-Sama.I’m a 27 year old American Otaku (Anime fan for you gaijins). I draw Anime and Manga on my tablet, and spend my days perfecting my art and playing superior Japanese games. (Disgaea, Final Fantasy, Persona series)I train with my Katana every day, this superior weapon can cut clean through steel because it is folded over a thousand times, and is vastly superior to any other weapon on earth. I earned my sword license two years ago, and I have been getting better every day.I speak Japanese fluently, both Kanji and the Osaka dialect, and I write fluently as well. I know everything about Japanese history and their bushido code, which I follow 100%When I get my Japanese visa, I am moving to Tokyo to attend a prestigious High School to learn more about their magnificent culture. I hope I can become an animator for Studio Ghibli or a game designer!I own several kimonos, which I wear around town. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to Japan, so I can fit in easier. I bow to my elders and seniors and speak Japanese as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond.Wish me luck in Japan!

I started Persona 4 playthrough number infinity in order to get the Accomplice Ending, something nice and easy(?) after getting the Platinum with betweenrageandseren1ty. To get such an ending and not feel as bad about it, I decided to name this playthrough The Jerkass Run where I shall always pick the worst kind of answers, thus being a jerkass to everyone. This includes Social Link conversations and everything.

Arrived in Inaba and already, Dojima thinks I’m shy like Nanako, Nanako herself is super awkward around me and I told Marie I’m a figment of her imagination. King Moron thinks I’m still going through a rebellious phase and Chie doesn’t like it if you forget you’re sitting next to her.

The hardest moments of being a jerkass in this run is towards Yosuke since he’s one of my favourite characters and I find some of his responss towards the less pleasant answers quite enlightening about how he feels towards the protagonist (so shipping feels in a weird sort of way?) He’s genuinely offended when you’re more worried about his bike than him upon first talking to him. If you also agree with Saki-senpai that Yosuke is ‘annoying,’ she laughs a little and Yosuke gets quite angry (“break it up, you’re starting to get on my nerves.”) The biggest moments are when you are given the choice to help him in the TV World, just before his Shadow self fight and the start of the Magician Arcana Social Link. In the first, if you tell him the business in the TV World is nothing to do with you (as in Yu, not Yosuke,) he the admits he’s scared, but he has to do it (“So, please… come with me.”) In the second conversation, even the game calls you out if you refuse to help Yosuke solve the serial killer case and Yosuke himself “really hoped for your help on this,” but you join forces regardless. But feels. Yay.

If you want to keep track of my progress (I’ll be posting what kind of responses I get and stuff,) track the Loomy tag below this article.
